UT Dentistry is going pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
This October, clinics will be donning pink personal protective equipment (PPE) in an effort to raise awareness about the importance of early breast cancer detection and education and to .
Why do we wear pink?
With the help of our supply partners at MidWest Dental, clinical staff are wearing pink PPE throughout the month as a tribute to breast cancer survivors, in support for those currently battling the disease, to remember loved ones lost, to promote prevention and as a symbol of hope through raising funds for breast cancer research.
As an added bonus, several of the supplies purchased this month are pink for a purpose, meaning the manufacturer donates to the Cancer Research Institute and other cancer foundations for each item purchased.

- Join us for our survivor photo: Wednesday, October 23rd at noon in front of the tribute tree. Everyone is welcome!
Together, we can make a difference — one ribbon, one donation at a time. Let’s celebrate the warriors, embrace the fighters and support one another like the family we are to make a positive impact in the fight against breast cancer.
